1. Can you provide architectural and design services?

Yes, SDW will introduce you to our in house architects and designers to ensure we meet your specific design needs. We can produce layouts and elevations, 3D Conceptualizations and Rendered walkthroughs.

2. Does your company undertake all aspects of construction?

Yes, we are a one-stop turn-key solution for everything to do with commercial, residential, educational, and food and beverage sectors including design, building official approvals and certifications, plus all construction processes and trades, the supply of furniture, fittings, and equipment.

3. How much will a fit out/refurbishment cost?

Every project is different based on the end-users requirements. We provide a quote once we understand the size and scope of the work involved. After the proposal is agreed upon, we guarantee there will be no variations to the cost. If there is a change order, we are flexible in offering solutions that can work with your budget.

4. Can you purchase my existing office equipment?

Being under the HMR umbrella, we can offer this service to you. If you are relocating office and wish to dispose of your old office furniture and equipment, we can offer buy out solutions that are included in our fit-out proposals that can be deducted from our quotation. Likewise, we can offer surplus office equipment and furniture from previous pull-outs at a lower price if you have a specific budget.

5. What is your quality like?

The majority of our project revenue is from existing clients or referrals which is a testament to our work. We don’t cut corners to save money. We keep to the contract’s specifications and never try to slip-in something cheaper as an alternative. If we find savings during a project we pass them on to you. We believe honesty builds trust and loyalty in both ways.

6. What kind of warranty do you offer?

For furniture and equipment, it depends on the type of product selected. Building works have a defect liability period of 12 months unless otherwise stated.

7. I have an Architect/Designer to do my design work. Can SDW do the building work?

Absolutely. We will work with your architect to ensure the office is built to their specifications. We can also provide you with designs and plans if you don’t have an architect.

8. Do you manage the IT component?

We will work with your in-house IT team or your external consultants & service providers to establish your IT requirements. We can manage the cabling works and integrate your service providers into the construction program to ensure your IT is up and running for cutover.

9. What is your timeline for a fit out?

Projects can be broken down into 3 parts; Pre-Construction, Construction, and Post Construction/Handover. We pride ourselves on our fast turnaround time in the initial phases of the project, quality of work during construction, and customer care post-handover. On average, it will take 28 days from initial client brief to submission of engineered drawings and blueprints to building administration and building officials for approval. Our standard procedure for the construction of fit-out is 60 days. This is to ensure quality is maintained throughout, and not rushed. We issue you with a construction schedule to keep track of your project.
